The Vision Behind Pitch to Planet

“Sanskrit is not a dead language. It was a sleeping one.”

Meet Our Lead Instructor

PhD in Sanskrit • Gold Medalist • 16 Years of Teaching
Sanskrit is not a subject [Instructor Name] chose. It is a calling she answered — and has never stopped answering.
After achieving a Gold Medal in Sanskrit at the postgraduate level, [Instructor Name] pursued her doctoral research in Sanskrit, producing scholarship that bridges the gap between classical Sanskrit grammar and its living, spoken application. Her PhD work established her not just as a linguist and grammarian, but as someone who understands why Sanskrit was spoken, how it was taught across centuries of gurukula tradition, and what modern learners genuinely need to make it their own.
For the past 16 years, she has taught Sanskrit professionally — 14 of those years in direct partnership with Ayurvedic colleges, working alongside BAMS faculty, MD Ayurveda scholars, and undergraduate students who needed more than memorisation. They needed understanding. She gave them both.
At Pitch to Planet, she brings that same rigour — and that same warmth — to a global classroom. Her approach is simple: Sanskrit was always spoken before it was written. Every student who studies with her rediscovers that truth in the first lesson.
